The format

A 30-second raw clip, straight to camera.

  • → Hold your phone vertically (9:16).
  • → Good light, face a window if you can.
  • → Quiet room, no music.
  • → Look at the lens, not the screen.
  • → One take is fine. Real beats polished.
  • → Only share what you're comfortable with.

How long it took.

How many years from your first symptoms to diagnosis? How many GPs, A&E trips, or dismissals along the way? If you're still undiagnosed, say that that's the story too.

"It took me 12 years and 7 doctors before anyone said the word endometriosis."

The pain and the impact.

What has it cost you? Work missed, relationships strained, plans cancelled, fertility, mental health. Be honest about the suffering that's what makes people listen.

"I've lost jobs. I've cancelled on friends so many times they stopped inviting me. Some days I can't get off the bathroom floor."
Example — 30 seconds

What it sounds like.

[0–5s] "Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm 29 and I have endometriosis."

[5–15s] "It took 11 years to be diagnosed. Eleven years of being told period pain is normal, that I was exaggerating, that it was in my head."

[15–25s] "I've missed weddings. I've thrown up from pain at work. I had to leave a job I loved because no one believed me."

[25–30s] "I'm UNHEARD no more. Listen to women."
